Bridges

A bridge (fixed or removable partial denture) is a device that fills the gap where teeth are absent. We will prescribe a bridge when one or more teeth are missing and there are healthy teeth on both sides of the open space. These adjacent teeth serve as supporting structure for the attached artificial tooth/teeth. Bridge can be made in a variety of materials such as all porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or metal.

Crowns

The term “crown” is synonymous with the term “cap” and covers the tooth structure visible above the gum line. Crowns are prescribed when a tooth or teeth are too badly decayed, broken or cracked. Crowns are normally needed for teeth that have had root canals. Crowns are also placed on dental implants to replace missing teeth. A variety of materials are available for these restorations including porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or metal.

Implants & Bone grafts

Dental implants are biocompatible posts that replace the roots of your missing teeth and provide the foundation for a crown, bridge, or other dental restoration. Implants have the added benefit of preventing further bone loss where a tooth was removed, thereby avoiding weakening of the jawbone and caving-in of facial structures. Dental implants surgically placed into the jawbone. Small posts are then attached to the implant, which protrude through the gums. These posts provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment, also called endodontic treatment, involves relieving tooth pain by removing the nerve tissue located in the center of the tooth and root. It is necessary when the pulp of your tooth becomes inflamed or infected. The inflammation or infection can have a variety of causes such as deep decay, repeated dental procedures on your tooth, or a crack or chip in the tooth. This is not a surgical procedure and no gum tissue is affected. Access to the tooth is obtained by drilling through the biting surface of the tooth or dental restoration to expose the nerve.

Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is the safest and fastest way to whiten your teeth. Our offices offer a combined in-office and take-home teeth bleaching that provides the best results available. Our state-of-the-art, in-office ZOOM system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Our take-home bleaching system will give you the results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Tooth colored fillings

Dental fillings are placed in teeth where a dentist has had to remove tooth structure due to decay or fracture. In recent years filling materials have been substantially improved by many technological advancements.

We are a mercury-free practice. Thus, we provide advanced tooth-colored fillings which is made of composite resin that directly bonds to your tooth. It is superior to less cosmetic materials because it bonds to enamel and therefore requires less removal of natural tooth structure.

Veneers

Unlike a crown, which covers the entire tooth, a veneer is a thin, semi-translucent laminate that is placed and permanently bonded over the front or visible parts of the tooth. Veneers are the most esthetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions including: misaligned/crooked teeth, diastemas (spaces between teeth), broken or chipped teeth, stained or discolored teeth.
